UGG boots, which have been the rage among celebrities and their fans for quite some time, have always divided people. Some think that they don’t look good and are only "famous" because celebrities are wearing them. But, that seems to be in the past now. This is because, for next fall and winter, the Ugg brand has decided to change their design to make sure that their product now appeals to a wider audience.
The design will include additional fuzzy patchwork while others will get the polished finish treatment, complete with satin bows. There's even going to be pink, silver, and gold sequin embellishments for those who are interested.
Uggs first made waves in the early 2000s, mainly because celebrities such as Kate Moss and Jennifer Aniston deciding to wear them. Often negatively described as shapeless and sexless, these sheepskin-lined boots have continued having immense popularity. Most people likely wear them, not because of their design, but because they are comfortable and cozy to wear.
Making this debut earlier this year, a pair of the newly design boots will set you back from $270 to $1,380. There's no word of the exact pricing, but considering the original style Ugg boots currently sell for almost $200 a pair, you can expect the new styles to sell for just as much if not more.
Whether you love them or hate them, one thing that you can't deny is that Uggs feel great to wear and now that are made to look more appealing, perhaps you might be more inclined to buy a pair.
